Givenchy unveils new feminine fragrance

Published: 14-Jul-2010

Playing to its couture roots, French Fashion house Givenchy has launched a new feminine fragrance, eaudemoiselle de Givenchy. The floral edt is said to be a fusion of tradition and modernity and was created by LVMH’s directory of olfactory development, François Demarchy, who describes the scent as ‘an imaginary rose in the morning dew’.

Notes of mandarin orange, Italian winter lemon and shiso, a Japanese basil, provide freshness at the top, while the floral heart of rose, ylang ylang and orange blossom adds sensuality. Finally woody and musk notes, accentuated by ambrette seeds and tonka bean create an intensity at the base.

The bottle again marries past and present and features soft curves and slender vertical fluting. The Givenchy logo is featured on the top of the gold cap.
