Good hair days from Liz Earle

Published: 20-Aug-2010

Following six years in development Liz Earle has launched her long awaited hair care line. Described as a ‘cleanse & polish for the hair’ the shampoo and conditioner range follows the same ethos as Earle’s award winning Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, in which one product is used for all skin types. Here Earle has created one universal shampoo and three conditioners tailored to hair types. The Botanical Shine Shampoo contains over 89% naturally derived ingredients including natural vitamin E, aloe vera, West African shea butter, apple and orange extracts and essential oils. The shampoo is free from SLS and SLES, instead using a new cleansing agent derived from coconut, which creates a creamy lather on contact with water. The three conditioners contain moisturising Kenyan yangu oil, blue seakale, derived from sustainable sources, and apple and orange extracts to promote shine. Each conditioner contains additional ingredients designed to cater for specific hair needs. Botanical Shine Conditioner for oily hair is a light conditioning product also containing black cohosh, to help balance and revitalise limp hair; Botanical Shine Conditioner for normal hair features moisturising meadowfoam oil to leave hair glossy and hydrated; while Botanical Shine Conditioner for dry or damaged hair contains West African shea butter to provide rich moisturisation to leave hair soft and smooth.
