Free, publically-availble tool includes data collected from 150,000 consumers across 46 countries

Google has launched a new free, publically-available tool called the Consumer Barometer 2014, available at www.consumerbarometer.com.

The tool aims to provide planners across a variety of industries and professions with the latest consumer insights to support their strategies. It allows users to sort through data sets across different categories, including make-up, set against regional and demographic filters of their choice. The data was collected from 150,000 consumers across 46 countries.

Peter Cory, Agency Sales Director at Google, said: “People now use digital media for a huge array of purposes but it isn’t always easy to tell what channels and activities are the most effective, particularly if you’re dealing with multiple markets and products.

“Our latest Consumer Barometer captures a vast array of new consumer research and enables anyone to easily explore how consumers are behaving in this brave new digital world.”
