Heinz Plastics Group has acquired a controlling interest in Böhm.Kunststofftechnik and its subsidiary Böhm.Polytech. From 1 September 2011, the Heinz Group will absorb the 30-year-old family company, which specialises in customised packaging for the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries.
Böhm comes with 200 employees across three factories based in Germany, raising Heinz Group’s number of employees to 3,500. With the acquisition of Böhm, Heinz expects its total revenue will significantly exceed the €300m mark for the first time.
