Manufacturer wins sustainability award for second time in a row


Personal care giant Henkel has been awarded Walmart’s Sustainability Award for the second time in a row after the retailer agreed it had made significant contributions to sustainability issues with its products. Sustainable initiatives include its Dial hand soap refills, which are claimed to save over 60% of he usual packaging material needed.

“We are quite honoured to be receiving this award for the second year in a row,” said Brad Casper, president and ceo, Henkel Consumer Goods, North America. “Sustainability is in Henkel’s DNA and we are very proud to continue to support Walmart’s significant and industry-leading sustainability efforts.”
