South Korea’s Hotel Shilla has won a tender for operating duty-free in Macau International Airport, China.

The Seoul-based hotel will run the duty-free business in cooperation with Hong Kong-based Sky Connection starting on 7 November.

The two companies have formed a consortium, Sky Shilla Duty Free Ltd, to operate the 1,122sqm space, or half of the total duty-free area, for five years.
