How The Perfume Shop became one of the UK's favourite stores

Fragrance retailer The Perfume Shop has beaten consumer goods giants to be named one of the top ten UK high street stores.

The A.S. Watson-owned chain was ranked number eight on the list, topping retail behemoth Boots and sister company Superdrug.

In an annual survey of over ten thousand shoppers, Which? asked consumers about their shopping experiences on the high street over the past six months.

Consumers were questioned about products, overall experience, satisfaction and likelihood to recommend the different shops.

Department stores Harvey Nichols and John Lewis were in the top five, while personal care retailer Bodycare was also in the top ten.
