How do you define a viral marketing campaign?
Viral marketing campaigns capture the minds and imagination of the wider general public, driving engagement, conversation and brand awareness. Examples of campaigns that went viral are The Harlem Shake and The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. They often take risks, evoke humour and appeal to larger human emotions or themes. They go viral for a reason.
