IDEA SUN is now recognised worldwide in the field of solar testing. It has a dedicated team of specialists, and is equipped with 9 solar lights, jacuzzis and a sauna.
IDEA SUN is located in 3 clinical centers in Europe and 1 in Asia, and has an in vitro tests lab dedicated to sunscreens. Our performance team works continuously to maintain a high level of quality and expertise in the evaluation of your sun care products.

IDEA Clinic’s experts, dermatologists, ophtalmologists, paediatricians, gynaecologists. will advise you on your tolerance studies. IDEA Clinic also has a clinical efficacy department at the cutting edge of technology: fringe projection, picture booth, images analysis. Our priority is to adapt our techniques and our know-how to changing technology and to your product’s claims.
In vitro tests for finished products and raw materials
IDEA Lab offers in vitro tests at two locations in France. In Brest, the microbiology lab carries out challenge tests, quality controls, and Ames tests. At the Bordeaux site, specialised in cell culture, IDEA Lab assesses the tolerance and the efficacy of your products. All of our in vitro safety studies are done in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices.
