Ileos acquires Le Papillon
French health and beauty packaging specialist Ileos Group has acquired US contract sample production company Le Papillon.
French health and beauty packaging specialist Ileos Group has acquired US contract sample production company Le Papillon. The company, which specialises in the full-service supplying and manufacturing of samples and promotional gift sets, was founded in 1975 and has two production sites in New Jersey. Its turnover last year came to $49m.
Commenting on the transaction, Pierre Hemar, president of Ileos said: "We are delighted to bring Le Papillon into the Ileos family. It is offering us the opportunity to further develop our know-how in fragrance unidose filling, gift & promotional items and better serve our customers in the US, which is a core geography for us."
After the integration of Le Papillon, Ileos expects to achieve a turnover of €388m for 2012.
