Beauty products are constantly having to evolve in order to stay ahead of the curve. From ‘alphabet’ products to oils, the success of these reinvented products can be seen in the figures, says Karen Grant, Global Beauty Industry Analyst at The NPD Group

Among the most popular trends today are products that, by any other name, could be considered simply evolutions – evolved products with some reconfigured wording to be something new.

From Moroccan oils, to Asian inspired multi-purpose tinted moisturisers, these ethnically inspired beauty routines are not just fads, they are evolutions that are also changing our approach to beauty routines. From Morocco, argan oils have evolved and succeeded in more than one area of beauty from hair to skin care and even make-up.
