European consumer agency, the European Environmental Bureau (EEB), has spoken out against the European Chemicals Agency’s (ECHA) recent recommendation to permit the continued use of chromium trioxide in lipstick tubes.

Chromium trioxide is a known carcinogen and forbidden in formulations.
