As of January 1, 2017 the widely-used chelating agent, EDTA, will no longer be permitted for use in Whole Foods body care products. Innospec is pleased to confirm that their readily biodegradable chelating agent Natrlquest E30 (INCI: Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate),continues to be permitted for use in the Whole Foods Body Care segment offering formulators a safe, effective and proven alternative. This unique chelating agent is also effective as both a preservative potentiator and antioxidant in personal care formulations.
