A new store in the departure lounge will cater for international business travellers and holiday-makers
Jo Malone London has opened a new boutique in the departure lounge of London City Airport.
The Estée Lauder-owned brand aims to tap into those travelling for business and leisure, with the airport’s East London location near to London’s financial district.
Sue Fox, Vice President, General Manager Travel Retail Europe, Middle East, Africa, said: “We will bring understated style and bespoke luxury to the airport’s international travellers.”
The boutique, which opened on 5 December, will sell a selection of Jo Malone London classics such as Lime Basil & Mandarin, as well as new scents including Basil & Neroli.
The space itself has been designed to reflect a modern take on English classicism – in keeping with the brand’s wider aim to provide ‘a modern take on luxury’ – and features heritage furniture alongside contemporary elements.
