Herbal cosmetics are growing in popularity in South Korea. In 2013, total sales were estimated to be Korean won KRW2 trillion.
The two growth sectors were organic cosmetics, with sales around KRW900bn and a growth rate of 7-9% annually, and bio-fermentation cosmetics, with sales of about KRW40bn and growth of 21% annually.
