French beauty brand Lancôme has unveiled its new retail concept, Café Lancôme, in the Dubai Mall. In a global first for the brand, the pop-up coffee shop serves fresh coffee and macarons to customers as they browse Lancôme’s stable of make-up, skincare and fragrance products.
Fitted with mock cobblestones, wrought-iron tables and chairs, lamp-post and sun umbrella, the space mimics the feeling of sitting al fresco at a Parisian café, as Lancôme staff talk customers through a selection of regional bestsellers and pillar products. Complimentary makeovers are also offered, with clients able to select their preferred look from a tablet device.
