Lea Seydoux to front campaign for seven-fragrance collection

Louis Vuitton has created a range of seven fragrances, after spending more than four years developing its debut range of scents.

Le Parfums Louis Vuitton is due to launch in selected Louis Vuitton stores this September and will include: Rose Des Vents, Turbulences, Dans La Peau, Apogée, Contre Moi, Matière Noire and Mille Feux.

All seven fragrances are available as an eau de parfum 100ml and 200ml (£180 or £270), in-store refills, travel spray, travel spray refills and in a miniature set of 10ml each.

The collection will supported by a campaign starring French actress Lea Seydoux. She was announced as the new “face” of Louis Vuitton earlier this year.

At the time, Seydoux commented: “I feel extremely proud at the thought of representing such a strong symbol of French elegance, an iconic brand whose initials are known the world over.”

This is the first fragrance from Louis Vuitton after the house’s first attempt failed in 1946. It was created by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud on the company’s new base in Grasse.

LVMH purchased Les Fountaines Perfumees in 2013, stocking more than 350 fragrance ingredients such as plants and flowers.
