The on-demand beauty treatment business is selling shares at £8.90 each

On-demand beauty treatment business milk beauty has raised £300,000 in 36 days of its crowd-funding campaign.

The campaign, overseen by European crowd-funding platform Seedrs, will now be extended until the end of February due to its success.

So far, 10% of the funds raised have been from current clients of the business, while a “sizeable majority” of MILK Beauty investors are its employees. Shares are priced at £8.90 each.

Lucy Patterson, Managing Director of MILK Beauty, said: “Reaching our £300,000 crowd fundraise target in just 36 days really was the culmination of an extremely successful year. We saw a very high level of interest in our fundraise from both private and institutional investors reflecting the strong consumer uptake of on demand mobile beauty services and the shift away from time consuming salon visits.”

MILK Beauty offers London-based clients the ability to book treatments on-demand in their homes, offices or hotels. It operates from 10am until 10pm seven days a week.
