McBride reports fall in full year 2006 earnings

McBride has reported a 12% fall in its full year earnings. The company blames high oil prices for the pre-tax profit dip from £30.6m to £25.9m and flat revenue of £540m. However, chief financial officer Bob Beveridge says McBride expects to restore profit growth in the coming year and anticipates fast growth in Eastern Europe.
