Swiss luxury goods firm Mont Blanc to launch new masculine fragrance, Emblem

For spring 2014, Swiss luxury goods firm Mont Blanc is launching a new masculine fragrance, Emblem, along with a modified version called Emblem Intense.

Emblem features head notes of clary sage, cardamom and grapefruit, heart notes of frozen violet leaves and cinnamon and base notes of ‘intense woods’ and tonka bean.

Emblem Intense is a stronger version of the original, with coriander replacing grapefruit in the head notes alongside the clary sage and cardamom, heart notes of frozen violet leaf, nutmeg, cinnamon and Givaudan proprietary molecule Pomarose, which smells of roses, apples, plums and raisins, and base notes of precious woods, patchouli, tonka bean and suede.

The fragrances come in tall, deeply fluted bottles: black for the main fragrance, silver for the intense version, in 40ml, 60ml and 100ml edt concentration.

The company entered the perfume market in 2001 with the male fragrance Presence and now has around 17 fragrances in production, including Legend, Femme de Mont Blanc and Homme Exceptionnel.
