Mini centrifuge provides capacity and flexibility 2-Aug-2011

Cleaver Scientific (CSL) has designed a Mini Centrifuge to eliminate the need to change rotors when switching between microtubes and PCR strips. The multifuge is fitted with a near silent operation, which when spinning at a fixed speed produces 2,000xg making it ideal for quick spin-downs. The multifuge also features a dual rotor enabling simultaneous spinning of 12 microtubes and four PCR strips.

Although the multifuge is ultra-compact at 14cm wide and 11cm high, weighing 1.1kg it still has twice the capacity and flexibility of traditional mini centrifuges.
