The skin care brand is the latest to join the natural beauty business hub in Karatsu City

Mirai Clinical, a Japanese-inspired skin care brand, has become the first US brand to partner with the Japan Cosmetic Center, bringing the number of companies linked to the natural beauty business hub to 147.

The Japan Cosmetic Center’s main aim is to develop a business hub in Karatsu City specialising in nautral beauty, similar to Paris’ Cosmetic Valley. Japan Cosmetic Center was founded in Karatsu City soon after the French Cosmetic Valley signed Karatsu City's Cooperation Agreement in 2013.

Koko Hayashi, CEO of Mirai Clinical, said the brand was committed to introducing the “greatness” of Japanese cosmetics to the US. Hayashi said: "Mirai Clinical is so excited and honoured to be a part of this global movement. As the only American member of JCC, Mirai Clinical is committed to introducing the greatness of Japanese cosmetics to the US by working closely with local Japanese ingredient manufacturers (organic farmers), R&D institutes, and production teams with the highest standards. Our newest formulations will continue to be developed and produced in Japan as part of our alignment with the JCC."

Current members of the Japan Cosmetic Center include: Tansan Magic, e's cube, Ajinomoto, Bloom and Toppan, among many others.
