Nasty Gal, the LA-based online retailer of fashion, shoes, accessories and beauty, has filed for bankruptcy under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code.

Founded in 2006, Nasty Gal was recognised as a pioneer in the e-commerce movement and is today available in 180 countries.

The retailer’s primary focus is fashion and shoes, however, it also sells a small edit of beauty products from brands including Eva NYC, Smith & Cult, Sticks Cosmetiks, TonyMoly and . . .
