For AW14, NARS (Shiseido) is adding two new nail colour lines. The 3.1 Phillip Lim for NARS Nail Collection and NARS Nail Polish were both introduced on 1 August.

The latest collaboration in the brand's long-standing relationship with the designer, the nine limited edition 3.1 Phillip Lim shades (£15 each) have been chosen to 'evoke the modern mood of the season'. The shades are: Anarchy, angora; Wrong Turn, graphite; Shutter, black sea green; Other Side, bitter chocolate; Gold Viper, champagne; Crossroads, African violet; Hell-Bent, lacquer red; Dark Room, blue denim; and Insidious, a black bronze that is exclusive to NARS boutiques and online.

The brand's core range of nail polishes (£14.50 each) has been re-vamped as 'a brilliantly curated palette of enamels'. The formula has a flexible, high gloss finish with a combination of resins and polymers designed to improve wear and strengthen nails. With the new polishes, the square cap is removed to reveal an easy to grip, cylindrical cap and upgraded brush shape to allow for easier, neater application.

The 43 shades range from clear to black with cobalt blue pearls and mandarin red. Ten of the shades are exclusive to Selfridges while 413 BLKR is exclusive to NARS online.
