Nivea Sun announced as official sun care provider for 2022’s Commonwealth Games

Beiersdorf label has been appointed to protect the volunteer community and spectators during the Birmingham, UK event

Beiersdorf’s Nivea Sun has been appointed official sun care provider for the Commonwealth Games this summer.

The event, running from 28 July to 8 August in Birmingham, UK, is anticipated to attract more than 1.2 million visitors and Nivea Sun will be used to protect the volunteer community and spectators.

All 17,000 games volunteers and employees will receive a free Nivea Sun Protect & Moisture SPF50+ Lotion.

The Nivea Sun x CRUK Sun Safety Bus, an educational drive in collaboration with Cancer Research UK, will also be on site for the full duration of the Commonwealth Games to communicate the importance of effective sunscreen use, shade and clothing for sun protection.

Spectators will be able to visit the Sun Safety Bus for advice and to receive a free sun cream sample.
