Oat Cosmetics unveils first personal care ingredients
Ingredients specialist launches OC Oat Oil and CP Oat Avenanthramide Extract
The company – which develops products in partnership with Canadian biotechnology specialist Ceapro Inc – says that it has worked with industry formulators to make its scientific information easily accessible through its website (www.oat.co.uk) and via an ask-the-formulator service.
Three further products and a range of formulations are also due to launch in autumn, and Oat Cosmetics plans to continue this momentum into the future. “Our aim is to launch a significant innovation at least annually,” commented managing director Cark Maunsell. “Despite our name, the ingredients will not always be oat based products although our partners at Ceapro Inc will be continuing their ground breaking work in oats for the foreseeable future, as well as creating novel products from new plant materials.”
SPC and cosmeticsbusiness.com will bring you new research on the materials later in the year.
