You are a highly experienced operations professional with a minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience managing both Supply Chain and NPD Projects, ideally within Cosmetics, Beauty or Fragrance.
Extremely organised and able to manage your time, you will be leading a small team of 3-4 hard-working, dynamic individuals, managing KPIs and reporting for the supply chain and NPD teams. Prior management experience is essential and you will need to hit the ground running in this role.
As Operations Manager you will spend a large portion of your time managing projects therefore knowledge of project management principles and methodologies would be highly advantageous.
Your time will be split between NPD (60%) and Supply Chain (40%), both from an operational view point. Responsibilities and accountabilities will include:
- Supplier Management, including sourcing, negotiation, etc.
- Supply Chain Optimisation
- Improving Gross Margins
- Relationship Management with External Stakeholders, including 3rd part warehouse, suppliers, etc.
- Setting & Monitoring 16 KPIs for the Ops Team
- Budget Planning
Due to the company size (25 people in total), you will be required to perform administrative tasks to support your work.
The successful candidate will be logically minded with a strong problem solving approach to your work, taking initiative and providing the senior team with options to overcome any issues that may arise.
