The client is looking for a Packaging Innovation Scientist to join the department and play a key role in the global packaging strategy.
Reporting to the Packaging Capability and R&D Operation Manager you will have the opportunity to:
- Own your own projects that will be rolled out globally
- Develop and create new innovative packaging concepts as well as working on modification and technical development
- Travel abroad to visit suppliers and factories around the world including Germany and Hungary
- Provide input and be guardian of key packaging business data including project plans, packaging specifications

The successful candidate will need to be educated to degree level in a technical discipline or experience within a technical field. It would be advantageous that the successful candidate would have a packaging related degree or qualifications. 2-3 years’ experience in the industry would be desirable with an eager character to progress. You will be need to able to proactively manage multiple projects by anticipating opportunities and issues in order to take the appropriate steps to deliver it on time with a cost effective strategy. You will need to be passionate about the role and organisation and be prepared to go the extra mile.
