RPC buys new sites 19-Aug-2010

European supplier of rigid plastics packaging, RPC Group Plc has acquired two Crown Group’s Risdon facilities in northern France and northern Italy.

RPC says the acquisition will complement and strengthen its existing activities in the beauty and personal care markets with the new manufacturing facilities complementing its existing sites.

Ron Marsh, RPC group ceo said: “This acquisition will propel RPC to a leading position in the beauty and personal care market. It is a market ideally suited to the application of RPC’s technology and one in which RPC already has a successful and growing presence.”
