This client is an exciting, fast growing International Cosmetics Company, selling their product range, across 62 countries world-wide! They offer a complete range of high quality fragrance, skincare, colour and personal care cosmetics, alongside a brand new wellness range.
Due to a restructure within the R&D department an unmissable opportunity has come about for an experienced Raw Materials Formulation Chemist to lead a newly established team across the skincare and cosmetics category.
As raw materials team leader you will be responsible for implementing the agreed raw material program covering the four cornerstones of the raw materials strategy. (Raw Material Supplier Management, Innovation & Technology, Key Processes and Policy & Regulations).
The primary day to day responsibilities will include evaluating new raw materials to support innovation program, liaise with core and strategic suppliers, identify new innovations and be the primary representative to maintain the current raw material portfolio. You will act as a key contributor for continuous improvement of internal raw material processes.
The successful candidate will have a high level of technical working knowledge within raw materials related to the beauty industry. Proven knowledge of formulation development in all areas. Proven record of successful collaboration with suppliers and a high level of analytical chemistry knowledge.
