US home fragrance and cosmetics brand Illume has been acquired by Regent Holding Company, a wholesaler of home décor and other products sold primarily under trade brands Creative Co-Op in the US and Bloomingville in Europe.
Illume sells a comprehensive range of natural home fragrance products including candles and diffusers, as well as perfume, bath and body care products. Its products are available in more than 7,000 stores in the US including in stores such as Target and Anthropologie, as well as online via its own website. It also has an international presence, available in 44 countries including the UK, Japan and the UAE.
Under its new ownership, Illume will benefit from Regent Holding’s multiple distribution channel in the US, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Regent Holdings supplies more than 30,000 doors globally.

Illume will continue to be overseen by Liz Barrere, who will remain as President and CEO, while Illume’s existing employee force will also remain with the company.
