What is it that makes a good PR, advertising or marketing campaign? Is it the language? Is it the visuals? Is it the creative elements that cause consumers to feel a connection?

Great advertisements connect with their audience and provide memorable images and informative, compelling content that make viewers respond.

The cosmeticsbusiness Innovation Awards seek to reward companies who deserve recognition within their industry for their innovation, creativity and success. We are calling for nominations in the following three categories within the cosmeticsbusiness Innovation Awards:

Most Innovative Advertising, Marketing and/or Social Media Campaign:

This award recognises innovation in advertising and/or social media campaigns. This can include print, online, TV, sampling and online campaigns. Did it, for example, successfully engage customers, change their behaviour or encourage interaction and a relationship with the brand?

Advertising Agency:

This award is open to In-house or agency companies or freelancers or combinations. The judges will be looking for evidence of dynamic and effective advertising campaigns, a wide variety of media coverage, accounts won and retained, and evidence of how a campaign has translated into brand recognition.

PR Team or PR Agency:

This award looks at the effectiveness of in-house and agency PR teams. The winner will show true understanding of the range of tools with which consumers can be engaged in the modern marketing landscape. Demonstration of new thinking in a specific sector, which can facilitate significant success. This may be related to a new brand; the rejuvenation or repositioning of an existing brand; or an innovative PR & marketing campaign.

This is the perfect opportunity to gain recognition for creativity, innovation and expertise – whether you are a PR or advertising agency/in-house team, cosmetic brand, beauty retailer, supplier of ingredients or packaging, store designer or leader in innovation.

The prestigious awards dinner will be held on Thursday 6 June 2013 at the London Film Museum within County Hall on the Southbank in support of Look Good...Feel Better and the Katie Piper Foundation.
