Sabatini serves up new scent

US cosmetics and toiletries conglomerate Procter & Gamble (P&G) is launching a new fragrance under the Gabriela Sabatini label, Miss Gabriela.

The first perfume issued under the Sabatini brand since 2008, it has head notes of raspberry and pink pepper, heart notes of jasmine, peony and heliotrope, and base notes of cedar and ambergris. The fragrance was developed by Firmenich in consultation with Gabriela Sabatini and the P&G Fragrance Creation Team and aims to bring the fragrance brand to a younger audience. It will be priced from u15 and is a pink juice in a clear bottle with pink outer packaging.

The fragrance will be sold in Brazil, Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and the Benelux countries, along with Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. The eponymous Gabriela Sabatini fragrance brand was launched in collaboration with the Argentinian tennis player in 1989. It has since launched some 16 fragrances.
