This organisation contract manufactures a variety of personal care, pharmaceutical and medical device products. They have fantastic facilities which are second to none and cater for some of the largest clients throughout the UK at present. They offer a bespoke service and their customers are extremely loyal because of the excellent quality they provide! This business has a fantastic culture and because of this their employee retention rate is second to none.

Due to their on-going growth and new business ventures, they now require a Sales Account Manager to develop and promote new sales strategies. You will be tasked with pro-actively seeking out new business opportunities within existing and new customers across both the pharmaceutical and toiletry sectors. One of the key requirements of this role is to manage specific sales accounts, improving turnover and profitability through promotions, range extensions and development of new products. Internally you must carry out research into market activity and new initiatives (ingredients and packaging) and create recommendations of how to take this information forward. This is a fantastic opportunity to spearhead their Sales division to further success.

Due to the large team culture that this business has, it is imperative that you are an enthusiastic and organised individual who strives to get the best out of a team. You will be working in collaboration with a number of departments so good communication skills both orally and verbally are essential.

The ideal candidate will have worked within the cosmetic or pharmaceutical industry and will have strong commercial knowledge, as well as vast experience of working in a customer facing role. As previously mentioned it is imperative that you are a genuine team player and leader, who listens to people and encourages an open environment. You will have had previous management experience, as this role will be part of the senior management board. Within previous roles you must have demonstrated your hands on management skills, and be committed to tasks in hand and have a can do attitude.
