A new perfume brand has launched in France, using a novel and untapped distribution route: hair salons.

Mimesis launched at the beginning of September in 40 salons and aims to be in 100 by the end of autumn, plus it plans to unveil its own website at the end of this month. The French hair salon network comprises some 80,000 salons, half of which are independents.
