During the Sepawa congress which will take place in Fulda in October 2011, proDERM will present the poster ‘Methods to Assess the Efficacy of Anti-Frizz Shampoos and Conditioners’ on Wednesday 12 October.
With this poster, proDERM will inform delegates about biophysical methods that are suitable for confirming anti-frizz effects. It illustrates a comparison of anti-frizz shampoos and conditioners with a simple, mild surfactant shampoo. The results displayed are based on a measurement of volume change of the ‘frizzy’ strands of hair during a 24-hour period of time in high air humidity as well as the measurement of the conditioning effects on curled hair.
