KGS Global has just announced that Emily Culp, Vice President of Clinique’s Global Digital/Consumer Marketing & Media Group will deliver the presentation live from New York at this year’s InnoCosmetics Europe (Innovation in Cosmetics and Personal Care Industry) event in Paris on June 8&9 2011. The title of her presentation is: The Consumer Connection; Optimising New Channels of Communication to Get Nearer to the Consumer.
According to New York –based Luxury Lab, Clinique is number one in its “Digital IQ Index of Beauty brands”. The index quantifies the digital competence of 4 beauty brands by accessing brand websites, digital marketing strategies, social media initiatives and mobile applications.

Emily’s presentation will focus on 3 main topics:
• Search insights. How Clinique leverages them to gain insights + launch.
• Social media. How to leverage new social media channels (Facebook, Insiders etc.) for feedback on current products, for input into future products and create advocacy.
• Mobile. How Clinique is exploring this channel (qr codes to iphone apps) to connect with consumers 24x7.

Working closely with Clinique’s Product, Marketing & Creative teams, Emily ensures that all of Clinique’s amazing products are effectively and thoughtfully represented in a 360 capacity.

Since starting the Clinique Digital Marketing Group in 2008, Emily has led varied initiatives in CRM, social media & digital marketing. She ran the development and launch of the in-store skin diagnostic computer currently being piloted in the US. She has also launched successful cross channel media campaigns for Even Better Clinical, 3-Step Skin Care System, Youth Surge Moisturizer & High Impact Lip Colour. In social media, Emily has implemented a global strategy in addition to directing the launch of Clinique’s Twitter and YouTube pages.
