Are you a true expert in skincare formulation development? Are you interested in joining one of the industry’s best recognised cosmetics and skincare organisations?
A very exciting and rare opportunity has come about for a skin care formulation expert to join our client’s globally leading R&D facility to help strengthen the expertise within the department.
As Principal Formulation Chemist for skin, you will report directly into the R&D director and will be seen as the true expert within the skincare category. You will be called upon to create innovative new skincare formulations for the global market place that fulfil the company’s highly reputable brand. This person will support the growth of expertise in skincare formulation science for the company and will play an instrumental role in helping develop and deliver the category strategy.
We are looking for somebody who can work at the bench and supervise junior formulators and who has a minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in the following skincare capabilities:
1. SPF & UV
2. Anti-Aging Technology
3. Whitening Technology
4. Performance Active Technology
5. Texture, sensory and format
6. Natural technology
The successful candidate will have significant experience in the above core areas and must be educated to degree level in chemistry or other relevant discipline with a proven track record of success in a fast paced environment. Extensive knowledge in technology, innovation and scientific communication is essential, alongside the ability to lead scientific teams of different back grounds.
