Fragrance supplier to target Thailand and Indonesia

Fragrance supplier Seven Scent, established as a stand-alone business by PZ Cussons in 2010, has appointed DKSH to market and distribute its fragrances in Thailand and Indonesia.

“We have been heavily present in these markets for some time in many of PZ Cussons’ brand leading consumer products,” said Awie Newell, sales director at Seven Scent. “Now, operating as a separate business, we are in a position to work with external customers who can benefit from our market understanding and category knowledge.

“The agreement with DKSH is an important part of this strategy; their specialist local knowledge and infrastructure will help us achieve greater market penetration and support business growth in these regions.”

The company says it has provided comprehensive training sessions for DKSH teams covering fragrance formulation, product development and category innovation.

Newell adds: “Asia is a complex market where consumers are strongly influenced by fashion and sports fine fragrance brands. We will continue to work in partnership with DKSH to translate the latest trends, such as the current preference for fresh floral-citrus combinations into commercially viable fragrances for use in personal care and household products.”
