Silab launches Iris Iso active

Ingredients specialist Silab has launched an active based around the iris flower. Iris Iso is an anti-ageing active that is said to be rich in isoflavones from the flower, which is able to fight the visible signs of ageing, according to the company.

Iris Iso is claimed to work on three compartments of the skin: preventing atrophy of the epidermis by limiting inflammation; preventing attenuation of the dermal-epidermal junction, by boosting synthesis of its components; and reducing alterations of the dermal matrix by maintaining activity of fibroblasts.
