Leading the way in cosmetic skincare development, our client offers innovative development opportunities to a customer base that is desired by many. The company's expert in-house team provide its clients with a development service that is second to none. As business is booming for this company there is now a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Formulation Development Chemist to join the R&D team and assist across their extensive skincare portfolio.

Reporting into the Technical Manager you will act as the key technical contact in your area and will be called upon provide technical expertise to the NPD team and also develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts and raw material suppliers. You will be required to create new and exciting products to meet customer requirements and become fully involved in the process from formulation development to full production. You will be fully involved in the costing's of new formulations alongside stability and compatibility testing’s.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in a relevant science, and will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. You must be able to communicate well with different business areas and feel confident in a customer facing situation. Due to the fast pace of the laboratory, large client list and the extensive product portfolio, commitment and fantastic organisation skills are a must.
