Social Vend to give gifts in return for social interactions

A new socially-activated make-up vending machine is set to introduce a new way for beauty brands to interact with consumers.

The Social Vend Vendmini, is due to be launched across the UK from January 2017 in stores, train stations, bus stops and cafés, with beauty treats given in exchange for social media interaction.

Social Vend says it will not just be the most digitally influential – such as bloggers – receiving freebies from brands but the general public. “The Vendmini is a socially activated vending machine with a small footprint for marketing campaigns, in-store sampling and promotional giveaways,” explained CEO and Founder Andrew Theodore.
