Due to launch bath and body care range evoking Britishness

Luxury beauty retailer Space NK plans to launch an own-brand bath and body range inspired by the scents of Britain, called Beautannia. The range features products in three scent groups. Bloomsbury contains soft, clean notes of pimento, orange and neroli to echo the freshness of garden squares at dawn, supported by oud, geranium and sandalwood, while Brideshead channels Evelyn Waugh’s aristocratic rural idyll with a blend of wild bluebell, honeysuckle, plum, peach and violet leaves. Finally, Balfour, a mix of English fern, birch leaf, labdanum, oakmoss, vetiver and copaiba basalm draws inspiration from the Scottish Highlands.

Each fragrance is available as a bath & shower gel, bath oil, body lotion, body cream, scented candle and bar soap, which range from £15 for the soap to £42 for the bath oil and body cream products, while the packaging marries modern photography with Victorian illustrations.

Beautannia products will be available in Space NK stores from 25 October.
