Spincontrol increases its consumer tests activities with the creation of a special unit: Spinconso.

Capture emotions with Emospin

Spincontrol has founded a new independent company called Emospin dedicated to the measurements of emotions.

Emotions are complex processes difficult to directly apprehend. This is why we apply and develop objective analytical methods to take into account the different components of emotion such as the affective sphere, the physiological sphere and the expressive sphere.

For instance, we are able to apply methods of behavioral analysis like face and body expressions, prosody (voice modulation), mydriasis (dilation of the pupil)and psychophysiological analysis such as measuring the skin temperature, the variation of the heart beat or electrodermal response test, among others.

Emospin is able to measure the impact of fragrances in a cosmetic cream, to explore the emotional dynamics in the use of make-up products or even to measure the importance to the consumer of the brand label on the packaging in an overall satisfaction and hedonic experience.
