Strong growth in emerging markets gives IFF 13% growth in 2010

Ceo says the company has had an ‘outstanding year’


Flavours & Fragrance company IFF saw its revenue grow by a healthy 13% last year, taking the total to $2.6bn. And in the fourth quarter the company also saw sales of 8% on the previous year to $630m.

Summing up the results IFF ceo Doug Tough said: “IFF had an outstanding year in 2010 led by strong new business wins across both Flavours and Fragrances. Our double digit top-line performance reflects strong growth in the emerging markets, increased levels of innovation and an underlying strength across our product portfolio.

“We accomplished these excellent results while simultaneously working through a strategic assessment of our company. We have gained insights from this review that will help drive incremental value longer-term for our shareholders.”
