Philips Global Beauty Index research finds 91% of Indian women believe they are beautiful

Women in India have the highest level of confidence, according to the Philips Global Beauty Index, with 91% believing they are beautiful.

The second Global Beauty study spoke to over 11,000 women, with an aim to better understand women’s attitude towards beauty and the industry.

Panel expert and Shavata Founder Shavata Singh suggested that this was because women in India are introduced to beauty regimes at an earlier age, which helps to form a bond between a daughter and mother.
