Japan’s Sunstar, a major manufacturer of personal products, plans to offer up-market cosmetics in overseas markets via e-commerce, TV shopping and mail order catalogues starting this year. It will target affluent consumers in the US, Europe and Asia. Sunstar plans to take its Equitance brand abroad. The product line-up consists mainly of anti-ageing skin care products for women in their 40s and 50s.
