Superdrug debuts Swap Shop campaign for own brand items

Average Brit could save £150 a year by switching to own brand beauty items

Superdrug is encouraging customers across the UK to swap branded beauty items for Superdrug’s own brand equivalents this month to help them save money.

The own-brand products will be highlighted in stores across the UK as ‘Swap and Save.’ Selected stores will have brand ambassadors available to discuss the benefits of switching to an own brand with customers.

Independent research commissioned by Superdrug has shown that the average Brit could save over £150 a year by making the swap on their everyday beauty and toiletries.

The retailer will be offering a 100% money back guarantee to customers who are not completely satisfied with their own brand purchases and will provide a 25% discount voucher for their next own brand purchase.

Superdrug Marketing Director Matt Walburn says: “We are hugely proud of our own brand products, which is reflected in the money back guarantee. The value of our own brand is unparalleled – but it’s not all about cost, we were the first high street retailer to commit to accrediting every single own beauty and toiletries product as cruelty free with Cruelty Free International.”

The Superdrug Swap Shop challenge starts on Friday 5th June in UK stores.
