Symrise expands perfume oil production capacity
New mixing and dosing facilities put into operation at Holzminden site
Fragrance and flavour company Symrise has increased its fragrance production capacity with the addition of new mixing and dosing facilities at its headquarters in Holzminden, Germany. The upgrade comprises a production dosing system for additional raw materials and a 1,000-element dosing system that Symrise says guarantees precise mixing of the perfume oils.
Symrise estimates that the €5m investment will lead to a 25% increase in production capacity and will enable the creation of approximately 30 new jobs.
“The expansion of our perfume oil production underscores the great importance of the Holzminden site for Symrise,” commented ceo Heinz-Jürgen Bertram. “Through the optimal exploitation of our capacities, we are also implementing our strategy to prosper substantially under our own steam – an important foundation for our long-term business success.”
