A cosmetic and beauty company with offices in Asia, USA and UK is looking for a Technical Consultant for Colour Cosmetics and Body Care.
In this role, you will report to the CEO and provide advice on global regulatory questions, with emphasis on EU, USA, Asia and Australia. You should have thorough understanding of and keep up to date on global regulations including testing, INCIs, restricted and/or new materials since your role will include liaising with regulatory authorities, reviewing and providing advice on cosmetics and toiletries products to substantiate claims and confirming compliance with current and future EU and Global regulations.
This role will also support in analysing data for technical documents including managing PIF folders, checking and signing off the Micro and Heavy Metal testing reports from outsourcing testing houses and managing the flow of communication, timelines, and approval of documents related to stability and compatibility reports.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Solid knowledge of REACH Regulations
- Be up to date on current world wide regulations with relation to colour cosmetics and toiletries.
- Understanding of packaging componentry and technical specifications.
- Degree level education in cosmetic chemistry or cosmetic science.
- Proficient computer skills including Office Suite
- Ability to work remotely and to liase with our Asia based offices
